SHIPPING

Q. Do I have to pay extra for shipping?

A.  Unfortunately, yes! The free shipping is only valid for customers in mainland  United Kingdom. However, the charge is only £16.65(Pounds Sterling) per throw. The actual cost of shipping to North America is much more than this; however, as this is classified as an export sale, you do not have to pay UK sales tax (VAT), and we have allowed for this in calculating the total cost including shipping. FOR SHIPPING COSTS OF ITEMS OTHER THAN THROWS PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE CONCLUDING AND PAYING FOR YOUR ORDER. Thank you.

Q. How do I pay the shipping charge of £16.65?

A.  When you reach the page "Your Shopping Cart" you will see the line "Postage and Packing". From the drop-down box, please select "USA/Canada - Throws only. Then click on the RECALCULATE button. The charge will automatically be calculated for the throws you have chosen. Please, this charge ONLY applies to throws, please contact us for other items before you conclude and pay for your order.

Q.  How long does shipping take?

A.  We ship by air using the fastest but most economical courier available, which may vary according to your destination, using internationally reputed carriers such as UPS and DHL. We have recently improved our shipping services and delivery to most North American destinations now takes only 5 working days; this can be as little as 2 working days for NY / NJ.  Upon despatch, we will e-mail you the courier details and the tracking number so that you can check where your parcel is on-line, in case of query.

PAYMENT

Q. How much will I actually pay in US Dollars $?

A.  All our prices are in British Currency - £ Sterling. The price you will actually pay will vary according to the exchange rate between Dollars and Pounds, over which we have no control. The conversion to dollars is done by your credit card company at the rate on the day that your card is actually charged. Some card companies also charge fees for currency conversion – again we have no control over this, and you should check with your credit card company if you need to know the details.  At the time of writing  (May 23, 2005), the rate was approximately 1.80$ = £1. Q  Why can’t you accept payment in US Dollars?

A.  We would love to be able to do this! Unfortunately, to operate a multi-currency secure account involves much higher bank charges for us, and the volume of foreign transactions at the moment does not justify us doing this. But if our foreign sales continue to rise as they are doing at present, we may be able to offer this facility sometime in the future.
