Faux Fur Throws, Cushion Covers & Pet Blankets
Due to the nature of faux fur fabrics, some initial fibre shedding may occur. This is normal and can be reduced by lightly vacuuming the item on receipt. Smaller faux fur items, such as cushion covers and pet blankets, may be washable; however, we strongly recommend dry cleaning only for all faux fur throws.
Faux fur throws require careful aftercare to restore the pile following cleaning. Larger throws are particularly heavy when wet and may damage domestic washing machines due to their weight and bulk. For this reason, dry cleaning is advised. Please refer to individual product pages for specific care guidance.
Where faux fur items are washable, use the coolest and most delicate machine setting with a medium spin and a mild detergent suitable for delicate. Allow items to dry naturally on a flat surface. Do not tumble dry, iron, or apply heat, as this will damage the fibres. Washable items may also be hand washed. While damp, gently brush the pile with a soft brush to restore its appearance.
During transit, faux fur may become creased or compressed. In most cases this will ease after a few days once opened. For stubborn creases, lay the throw flat and place a damp towel over the affected area for around an hour, then gently brush the fibres into place and allow to dry naturally.

Tartan & Fleece Throws and Fleece Pet Blankets
Tartan and fleece throws and blankets can be machine washed at 30°C using a mild detergent. Fleece dries quickly, so we recommend natural drying either folded or flat to reduce creasing.
If ironing fleece is necessary, place a damp cloth over the fabric and iron indirectly on a cool setting. Tartan throws should be ironed on a cool setting on the tartan side only, not on the fleece backing.
Printed Velvet Throws & Cushion Covers
Our printed velvet is digitally printed on 100% polyester fabric. These items may be spot cleaned, hand washed, or machine washed on a delicate cycle at no more than 30°C, using a mild detergent. Dry naturally only and do not tumble dry. Iron on a cool setting if required.
Seat Pads
Seat pads are suitable for indoor and outdoor use but are not waterproof. If a spill occurs, sponge the area immediately using clean warm water and a mild detergent, then allow to dry naturally. Do not machine wash or dry clean seat pads.
Cowhide Rugs
Cowhide rugs require minimal care and, if looked after correctly, should last a lifetime. They are not suitable for high-traffic areas, as regular footfall will cause hair loss over time. Occasionally take the rug outside and gently shake to remove loose hairs.
Vacuuming may be done carefully, avoiding the edges. Cowhides should not be allowed to get wet. In the event of a spill, dab immediately with warm water and mild detergent and allow to dry naturally. Do not wash, dry clean, or use chemical cleaners unless advised by a professional.
Sheepskin Rugs
Avoid getting sheepskin rugs wet wherever possible. If they do become wet, allow them to dry naturally. To maintain the pile, brush gently using a soft brush or wide-tooth comb.
For dirt or soil, allow it to dry before brushing out. Spills should be dabbed with a damp cloth and mild wool detergent. We strongly recommend dry cleaning only. If machine washing is chosen, use a wool cycle at no more than 30°C with a mild wool detergent. Dry flat naturally and brush gently while damp. Please note the leather backing may stiffen if washed. We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by machine washing.
Reindeer Skin Rugs
Occasionally take your rug outside and gently shake to remove dust. If vacuuming is required, use a brush attachment very gently. Avoid placing reindeer rugs near heat sources such as radiators or fires, as this can dry the hide and cause hairs to become brittle.
We strongly recommend dry cleaning only. Reindeer hides are not suitable for high-traffic areas, and hair loss will occur if walked on regularly.
